Kris Quinones, LMT, AHC, CYT,  is owner and founder of Rasayana.  She graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 1996 with a B.A. in Biology/Pre-med and spent the next four years working as an orthopedic and research assistant for several Boston area surgeons treating sports injuries and degenerative diseases.  It wasn't until 2000, after sustaining a severe hip injury while competing as a brown-belt in Tae Kwon Do, she discovered Yoga.  It became her primary rehabilitation and sparked what has become a life long study of holistic healing and living.

In 2007, Kris graduated from the Cortiva Muscular Therapy Institute and became a licensed massage therapist. She continued her training at the Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, MA with Hilary Garivaltis, D.Ay, where she became certified in several traditional Ayurvedic treatments.  Since then she has run a successful full time massage therapy practice in popular Davis Square in Somerville, MA.  Her treatment approach is interactive and goal-oriented, with a dash of tough love when necessary.

In 2009 she advanced her studies at Dr. Partap Chauhan's  Jiva Institute for Vedic Studies in Haryana, India, under the direction of  head physician, Dr. Kuldeep Solanski, BAMS with a focus on Ayurvedic theory, pancha karma therapies, and the creation of select medicinal herbal thailams.  In June 2015 she completed her Level 1 Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification (650-hr) at Kripalu School of Ayurveda, and is now offering diet and lifestyle consultations and treatment plans to further support client's needs.  She is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) , a Continuing Education Provider for the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), and former contributing writer for the Herbal Academy of New England.  She's also a faculty member at the New School of Yogic Arts, bringing Ayurveda training to professional yoga teacher trainees and her original workshops on repetitive strain injuries and Intro to Ayurveda courses have been taught in Boston area yoga studios and at the renowned Omega Institute for Holistic Living in Rhinebeck, NY.  Additionally, she is a 500-hour certified Kripalu Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist and O2 Yoga instructor, studying the Astanga yoga method with Elliot McEldowney and Ayurvedic Yoga with Yoganand Michael Carroll and Advanced Pranayama techniques with Larissa Hall-Carlson.

When she's not working with clients, Kris loves skiing, playing tennis, and competitive ballroom dancing.  To stay in the loop,  subscribe to her monthly electronic newsletter full of informational articles, tips, recipes, and product reviews or follow her on Facebook and Twitter.

Meet Niloni Hibbard, LMT

Rasayana apprentice & new team member!

Hi, I go by Loni.  I'm from Southern California and raised at the beach by a long line of strong women.  I have a passion for gardening and growing your own food and medicine, organically. I love to create, craft, and am a gypsy at heart. Today I'm a licensed massage therapist, married to a musician, and a mama to a beautiful, healthy, sports-loving son with cystic fibrosis.

I am completing my 2nd trimester of Clear Mind Strong Body and so excited to be here and apprentice under Kris.  I am currently offering structural massage and have a particular interest in pre and postnatal care.

Imagine what we can accomplish, being the best versions of ourselves, all together! Hope to see you soon!!
